Thanks for your comments everyone. This is at the home of some dear friends on the Shushwap River in Enderby. Their home and the countryside around them inspire me. Being from Texas, I especially enjoy the fall palette in BC. I am amazed by the colors and textures as the temperatures drop.

Re: Armstrong/Enderby, I live in Kelowna now, but was born and grew up in Enderby (actually just outside Enderby in an area called Ashton Creek). I spent most days every summer as a kid swimming in the Shuswap River.
